broken magic.mime ?

28 Mar 2006 I wasn't able to upload files in drupal anymore
I always got the error:

For /tmp/filename the system thinks its MIME type is text/plain while the user has given application/x-gzip for MIME type

Reading this site caused me to uncomment the entry for application/x-gzip and regenerate the magic.mime file.
